Why Are You So Jealous?

I suggest you tap throughout this blog post & create your own set-up statements when a ’sore point’ is hit upon!

Jealousy can be seen as putting yourself down. When you feel jealous you’re really comparing yourself to someone else. You make others more important than you. There will always be people you meet who have ‘less’ and ‘more’ than you. Be concerned with yourself & focus more on you.

You cannot control or predict how others act. It is not your responsibility or obligation to feel bad if someone acts in a way that you perceive as being not fair. This is a difficult concept to grasp but once you do, you will appreciate the power & freedom it brings.

For example, your wife may one day have an affair. This decision & her actions have nothing to do with you – it is between your wife & the ‘other man’. If you think it is a reflection on you then you can get into a vicious cycle where you may compare yourself to the ‘other man’ and try to work out why.

Jealousy arises from a lack of confidence in yourself. Basing your happiness upon what others feel, say & do is fickle. Yet many of us do.
