With some of my clients I have found a common thread: Those who are immobilized (by living in a state of feeling overwhelmed) are bound by an inability to make decisions. They feel extreme anxiety & feel they may make the wrong choice. They postphone & put off making any choice because they cannot face the consequences of what they may decide.
It is constructive to measure yourself not by what choices you make; but by how you handle yourself after a choice has been made. You can never know the outcome of a choice. To make a decision, simply ask yourself: which likely consequence would I prefer right now? And make your choice.

what do u do if u feel like u don’t believe an afirmation no matter how you wish it was true?
You must use tools that make you feel good. And affirmations are just a tool. If you don’t believe an affirmation because it is too out of your league, break it down into an affirmation you CAN accept. And then build up to your big affirmation. Leon Jay
