Feeling Stuck? Have a Stubborn Issue?

Somtimes it can feel like we’ve been tapping forever but  the “problem” we regularly experience in our lives continues to rear it’s ugly head!  We seem to attract the same problem over and over again and no amount of tapping seems to be working or it only works for a short period of time.

The solution….

Ask yourself two really tough questions!

What is the UPSIDE of keeping this problem?

What is the DOWNSIDE of letting go of this problem?

Chances are on a conscious level your answer to both of these questions will be “Nothing!!”

However, if we open our hearts to look a little deeper into the sub-conscious mind we will find there is usually a very good reason to hold onto this problem.

For example….people can actually be afraid of success because the last time they succeeded a family member made a harsh/rude comment that hurt their feelings or they may be afraid of losing friends if they allow themselves to be successful.

In this example, the UPSIDE of keeping the “unsuccessful problem” includes being accepted by family members and friends.  The DOWNSIDE of letting go of the “unsuccessful problem” includes having to risk being riduculed or criticized by friends or family.

If you have trouble finding an answer when you ask yourself these two tough questions it may help to ask for help from someone who knows you well or a qualified EFT Therapist.

How E.F.T. Can Change the Way You View the World!

There are as many ways to view the world as there are people on the planet.  With long term and proper use of E.F.T. we can begin to see  reality “as it is” which means that we are no longer seeing reality “as we think it is”.

Most of us may have heard that reality is created from “the inside out” which means that it is our perceptions that colour the world that we see out there or that causes us to “attract” certain things into our life.  For example, if we experienced our parents as very negative growing up and were scolded all the time we might attract into our life,when we get older, a boss at work who seems to treat us in a similar way!  This becomes our “reality” as our past experiences continue to colour our perceptions of how we view the world today.

The priceless value and blessing of EFT is that by tapping on the negative feelings about our boss and most importantly tapping on how we felt when our parents scolded us (for example) we can begin to heal from that experience.  When we do so the way that we see the world begins to change because we start to see it through a different lens.  And how beautiful the world can be!

Now, this doesn’t usually happen in one session of EFT – although it can!  It normally happens as we clear more and more of the negative emotions from our past.  You will notice that other people, places and things begin to look different or treat you differently.  It’s not that they are different but rather that you and your vibration and energy are different!  And so you begin to attract what you want into your life instead of what you don’t want.

So be prepared because the more tapping you do the more beautiful the world can be!

Have You Made Any Progress?

As you look back over the last 6 months have you made any progress? No? Then cast your mind back over the past two & a half years. Any progress there?

I ask becasue sometimes it feels we are getting nowhere. If you review a chunk of time then you often clearly see your progress. But what happens if you didn’t notice any growth?

If this is the case is it because you are constantly changing your mind? Are your inherent core values the same as the last couple of years?

If you are not demonstrating any consistency it is unlikely you will see progressive growth over time. You may find yourself running on a tread-mill that goes nowhere (no matter how fast you are running).

To get yourself out of this floundering state you need to figure out where to start. This in itself can be a huge challenge. Where do you begin?

Start with the task that will bring your life the greatest relief. Yes start with the biggest, hairiest task first. This is a great habit to get into.

If you honestly cannot identify what would bring you the greatest relief, I would say just start. Anywhere. It doesn’t matter where.

As you take action it will become clear to you what you need to do next. And as you keep crossing things off your list (big & small) you will find over time you have acheived a lot.

Use EFT to tap on any blocks that come up. Most importantly, take action!
