EFT Every Day

November 12th, 2007 No comments

For lasting results and improvement in every facet of your life, make EFT a regular tool. For anything to become familiar you have to repeat the process over and over. Why not set aside 10 minutes every day or an hour a week in applying EFT to whatever challenges you want resolving.

Consistent and regular practise will ensure EFT becomes a good habit. In time applying EFT will be like brushing your teeth – you won’t even have to think about it.

Enjoy EFT!

EFT & The Set-Up Phrase

November 11th, 2007 No comments

I deeply and completely love and accept myself” is the end of EFT’s set-up phrase. For me personally and many of my clients this wasn’t entirely true. I have found that EFT is more effective and will produce faster and cleaner results if the set-up phrase is tapped on first.

You may find (as I did) this gives way to further limitations & blocks I didn’t realise I held. Once these were brought to the surface, I cleared them with EFT. I then found EFT a much faster tool to work with on other issues. I have found the same for many of my clients.

A good starting point:

‘Even though I don’t completely love myself, I deeply & completely love & accept myself anyway. I choose to be opein to loving myself more each day’

‘Even though I don’t completely accept myself, I deeply & completely love & accept myself anyway. I choose to understand if I don’t accept myself first, how can I expect anyone else to.’

Enjoy EFT!

Who Are You Attracting Into Your Life Today?

November 10th, 2007 No comments

Sometimes I wonder why we atrract the people into our daily lives we do? There are varied and many reasons – though I agree with Bob Scheinfeld these can be condensed into 3 reasons why we attract the people we do:

  • We meet someone because they are giving us the gift of knowledge or insight. For example, you might have been trying to track down a particular book. You then meet someone who either gives you the book or gives you information so you can obtain the book yourself. Perhaps you haven’t been able to understand something and you attract someone who puts things into perspective for you.
  • We meet someone becasue they help us, by setting into motion something which supports us. We may meet someone who puts us into touch with just the right person.
  • We meet someone because they reflect something we feel about ourselves. This is a good tool to use for EFT. If you attract people who are in angry moods, it pays to look within and ask yourself honestly if there is something you are feeling angry about. Once you identify what that may be (or even if you don’t know) you can use EFT to tap away that problem (or discover the problem in the first place and then dissolve it).

Enjoy EFT

The Secret and Limiting Beliefs

November 7th, 2007 No comments

I have just finished watching The Secret. I like the strait forwardness of its presentation. Even though I have watched The Secret many times before I appreciate the reinforcement I gain. Sometimes it’s good to be reminded of the basics.

It highlights for me the importance of action. It’s no good ‘knowing all that stuff already’ . It makes me ask myself if I am actively practising what I know & what I continue to learn in my daily living. And the answer is, ‘not enough’…

The Secret brings up many limiting beliefs many of us can identify with. It’s helpful that so many of them are highlighted. The 2nd time I watched The Secret I paused the movie every time one of the speakers mentioned a limiting belief I identified with, and wrote it down to tap on afterwards.

Sometimes with EFT it can seem we are going around in circles. We’re trying to find the root or core belief which is supporting so many other limiting beliefs. I found many core limiting beliefs were given to me during this movie.

Enjoy EFT!

Use EFT (even if you don’t understand it)

November 6th, 2007 No comments

I think once you find a tool you resonate with (be it EFT or anything else) use it. Sounds obvious but if something works for you, that’s all that matters.

Can you accept a theory if it has practical value for you? Practical value in that it enhances your life and brings you peace. You don’t necessarily need to know how it works.

I feel we humans have a habit of trying to dissect everything. We feel uncomforable if we don’t know the answer. See if you can apply EFT anyway.

Enjoy EFT!
