Are You Taking Enough Action?

January 18th, 2008 No comments

Few of us know what to do all of the time. We all know we need to balance stepping aside & allowing space for our desires to appear, with taking the necessary action to achieve this.

EFT is great if you find yourself stuck. You know you need to take action but you somehow can’t. Tap on not knowing where to start. Tap on needing to know all the steps before you take the first. Tap on the need for things to unfold as you expect.

By tapping on any discomfort you feel, you will pave the way for action more easily & consistently.

Enjoy EFT!

How To Use EFT In Sticky Situations

January 16th, 2008 No comments

EFT is a great tool in reducing fear in what I call ‘sticky situations‘.

Sticky situations usually involve confrontation with another person. Rather than complaining to others who are not involved in your problem, why not deal with the issue head on & talk with whomever you are having trouble with face to face?

EFT can dissolve your fear of not knowing how the other person may respond. EFT can give you clarity on what the real issues are. When you address what needs to be addressed, you will find relief just in the act of doing this.

Enjoy EFT!

Lose Yourself In Nature After A Round Of EFT

January 15th, 2008 No comments

I find after doing a few rounds of EFT my mind is swimming. Did I get the discomfort down to a zero or is there still something there? In these situations I find it helpful to remove myself from EFT & whatever problem I am trying to gain relief from.

Nature is a wonderful distraction. Today I visited a beach I hadn’t been to for almost a year. It was very satisfying to lose myself in that wonderful environment where appreciation is a given.

Later when I thought back to my EFT rounds I could see clearly whether there was any discomfort remaining or if I needed to do more EFT.

Enjoy EFT!

Sit Tight

January 13th, 2008 No comments

Although we may think we know what we want – the timing of when we receive this may be different to what we expect. In the long run does it matter when you receive the opportunity/ thing/ person you desire if you know that life will deliver when the time is best for you?

Perhaps you may feel impatient for something. Take a step back & even if you don’t fully appreciate why that something is not in your life yet, sit tight & be patient. That something may not be in your life yet because it may be serving you for whatever reason.

Some useful EFT set-up phrases:

‘Even though I don’t know why _______ is not in my life yet, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to understand not everything I desire will come into my life. If my desire is not there it is onlky because something better is on its way’

‘Even though I don’t see the benefit for _______ being in my life now, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to appreciate it anyway & trust in the process of life’

‘Even though I don’t trust in the process of life & I want to control everything because I know best, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to turn over this control to the Universe who knows the bigger picture better than I’

Enjoy EFT!

You Don’t Need To Have A Plan

January 11th, 2008 No comments

It’s popular to think that having a definate plan or focus is necessary in achieving something important. I believe it doesn’t have to be.

Allowing a natural focus to present itself can bring you to the same result.  You can be lead to this same result in an easier & more productive way, than what you may have previously mapped out.

Needing to knowwhere we are headed‘ doesn’t always serve us. This may block us from seeing a direction that is better for us – a direction that we may not be conscious of yet.

 Enjoy EFT!

Take Time Out To Relax

January 3rd, 2008 No comments

At this time of the year it can be hectic, leaving you wanting a holiday just to recover from the festive season! Have you ever done absolutely nothing? It’s a hard thing for many people to do.

You may feel guilty or uncomfortable doing nothing. Use EFT to tap on any discomfort you may feel. I recommend taking at least 2 full days & just doing nothing.

Recharging our batteries is important so we can be more productive when we are back into the swing of all the gifts this year will bring us. Time out allows our minds & bodies to let go.

Enjoy EFT

Celebrate You

January 2nd, 2008 No comments

I hope every one of you had an enjoyable & special Christmas. Over the last 10 days it has been like an open home with many friends & family members coming & going. I am always interested to catch up with friends I don’t see often.  And to notice the many changes that have taken place since last meeting.

Sometimes it’s difficult to see any changes on a day to day basis. But being reminded of all the new that has ‘appeared’ when conversing with old friends is always revealing.

The message for me has been to stop comparing myself to others & to compare myself only with myself. This is indeed the only true measure. I look back a year ago, 2 years & 3 years. There has been a lot to appreciate & celebrate. Time puts things into perspective that makes sense of those ‘down’ times.

I encourage you to stop & pat yourselves on the back. I don’t think we do this enough!!

Enjoy EFT!
