If we ask our imagination we will invariably get multilple answers & possiblilties. So what do we do with all these ideas we are given? If we do not put them to good use it is a waste. We must focus our imagination so we are ready to take the necessary action.
Use these EFT set-up statements to uncover any blocks towards using your imagination to its full capacity:
|‘Even though I don’t know what to do with all the possibilites my imagination has given me, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to be patient & allow the action I need to take to be made clear to me’
‘Even though I don’t want to take any further action on the ideas my imagination has given me, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to understand I am in partnership with my imagination & it takes commitment through action to bring my ideas to fruition’
‘Even though my imagiantion has not been given me many ideas, I deeply I completely love & accept myself. I choose to ask a better question so I can be given a better answer’
The mind is a tool we have created to use. Yet the mind has been confused with the master. Do not fool yourself into believing you are your mind. And that its current limits are your full potential. This is not the case.
The mind is where much (but not all) of our programming is stored. This programming is the software from which we operate. This software is what defines our beliefs. And in effect, our reality.
Once you understand your mind, you can start to use it, rather than have the feeling it uses you. The mind is a powerful tool and should be treated with respect. As with any software, realize it can be altered, upgraded or replaced. Your abilities are only limited to your current version.
Often we are faced with a tough decision. What should we listen to? Logic? Heart? Or intuition?
I would recommend intuition every time. It provides us with a connection to a higher understanding. It is all too common to try and use logic.
Logic is an awesome tool for understanding how things work in our human experience. Logic allows us to function on a day to day basis. Intuition however offers guidance & direction.
This is true for most decisions we make. It is emotion (energy in motion) that drives us. The logic simply helps rationalise our decisions.
Often just being aware & taking a giant step backwards can help you gain perspective. It is easy to lose sight of the big picture when you are too close to it & emotionally involved. Try these EFT Set-up Statements if you find yourself losing your perspective:
|‘Even though the way I am looking at my situation now is the ONLY way, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to be open to the fact there are multiple ways of evaluating a situation’
‘Even though I am clouded by my own judgement, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to be aware of the paradox that exists as I am both the creator & observer of my life’
‘Even though I can only see things my way, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to understand others may have a helpful point of view if I seek their advice. I know I can take or leave the advice that best resonates with me’
I found a great quote recently I’d like to share with you..
Alan Ashley-Pitt – “The man who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The man who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been.”
To me this quote is saying to think new things. Don’t accept what others tell you as truth. Discover for yourself. If you keep staying with the same crowd you are going to keep getting the same things as the crowd.
Use EFT to tap away any discomfort you may feel at the thought of ‘going it alone’. Every successful person has gone through a transition phase where they have felt alone.
I remember a book I read many years ago by Suze Orman titled, ‘The Courage To Be Rich‘. And I remember this book brought up a lot of conflicting emotions for me. It really does take great courage to go against the grain of what your family & friends believe.
These EFT Set-up statements were useful for me, they be helpful for you too:
|‘Even though I don’t want to be different than my family & friends by honestly wanting a lot of money, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to stand up for what I feel is right for me regardless of what those close to me think’
‘Even though it feels safe & familiar being poor & there is a comfortable companionship, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to step out of my comfort zone & accept I will be alone for a bit until I attract more like-minded people who understand me’
‘Even though I feel terribly alone & all by myself in my wanting more money, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to feel uncomfortable for the time being & accept my initial discomfort’
Often we meet people who have a different perspective than we do. What do we do when their point of view contradicts our own? You can do 3 things.
- Visit & entertain the new view for a short period of time. Mull it over. Then return to your old perspective.
- Adjust your point of view to incorporate the new possibility
- Completely change your perspective radically (which is the most difficult to do – but can be done especially if you have repect for who you are talking with. These EFT Set-up Statements may help:
‘Even though this person has a different view than me, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to be grateful for an insight into a new way of thinking’
‘Even though this person has a radically different view than me, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to take the bits I like & that make sense to me & merge this into my current point of view’
‘Even though I feel threatened by what this person thinks – as it conflicts with what I think, I deeply & completely love & accept myself. I choose to accept everyone has their own views that work for them. No one view is right for everyone’
