Feeling Suddenly Anxious or Worried?

February 17th, 2009 No comments

I think there are times when we feel there is too much to do. We feel uneasy and worried. Often experiences or ‘issues’ with others will crop up and turn our lives up side down.(My previous post is worth a quick look if you are feeling overwhelmed all the time.)

These EFT set-up statements are great for sudden feelings of being overwhelmed:

‘Even though I am feeling out of my depth, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I choose to take consistent small action steps to regain my sense of control’‘Even though I feel like I am being left behind, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I choose to accept I cannot be on top of things all the time’

‘Even though I feel drowned and burdened by this experience / person I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I choose to see there may be a lesson to be learned. Do I need to delegate? Do I need to speak up and ask for help? Do I need to become more organised?’

Enjoy EFT!

How To Get Someone To Love You…

February 11th, 2009 No comments

Are you missing out on love?  Do you seek love from others. Firstly what is love?  I heard a great definition: The choice to see the best in all beings.

Before we can see the best in others, we have to see the best in ourselves.

This means we don’t love our family for certain aspects & dislike other aspects – we accept (not necessarily agree with) everything – warts and all.

If you go within yourself – you’ll find your real, true self is loving.  When you work on loving yourself unconditionally – you will find it natural to love others.

Many of us find it hard to see past our bitterness.  We think to ourselves, “How can I possibly love others when they treated me how they did?”.  I challenge you to take a broader view.  Everyone is doing the best they can from their own conditioning.   It’s not a personal reflection on you – it has everything to do with them.  Step aside from judgement.

Enjoy EFT!

ps here is a link to another post of mine with great EFT set-up statements about liking yourself

How to Improve Self Confidence

February 4th, 2009 No comments

Confidence is one of those qualities that is sometimes hard to describe.  But we all recognise it when we see it in someone.  To me self confidence is having the guts to back yourself and do what YOU want to do.  Not what you are obligated to do, but want you truly want to do.These EFT set up statements will help you grow your self confidence

‘Even though I feel controlled by what others want me to do & I feel torn, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.  I choose to put my needs first as this is my life’

‘Even though I feel scared to go after what I really want, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.  I choose to be kind to myself, taking it in baby steps to steadily do what I enjoy’

‘Even though I don’t have the assertive gene in my body, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.  I choose to know self confidence is a skill that can be developed from scratch’

Enjoy EFT!
