In many clients I have treated excessive weight has little to do with over-eating and lack of exercise in itself. Often there are deeper underlying factors that are sabotaging our behavior.
Once we find the root or core problem – which may be leading us to carry out behaviors that are keeping us overweight, then yes I have seen the weight almost fall off.
It’s no good looking at the surface problem and trying to fix something that is NOT the real root problem.

If you want to achieve in anything there are certain “success factors” that need to be carried out in order to enjoy success in any area.
At the very core you need to identify what you want to achieve and how you will achieve it.
Break down your main goal into 5 key areas.
When you have met the criteria in these 5 areas you know you will have achieved you main goal.
For example if your goal is to “be healthy” you would break down this goal into 5 areas of narrow definition.
One area could be a specific clothing size you want to be. One could be a specific number of hours you deem necessary to exercise to be healthy. Another area could be which foods you are going to be eating and which you intend to reduce.
When you have broken down your goal and defined 5 different areas you need to step by step work out what is necessary to achieve what you would like to achieve in your 5 areas (in the time you would like to complete it within).
Now you have a clear, well defined goal and a plan of how to carry out your goal in mini steps.
You can be flexible and change your steps – as what you originally think you need to do and the actual reality of what you have to do may need to change.
Remember there are many paths to the same goal. Do what suits you in the time that is doable for you.
Use EFT to tap on any resistance or procrastination you feel in carrying out your plan.

Use EFT to help reduce stress...
There are times in all of our lives when everything is too much and even getting through the day seems overwhelming.
In times like these it is best to take a step back and re-evaluate. Ask yourself what is most important to you? Write down your list in priority order.
You may find you are doing things you don’t like doing. Ask yourself if this is just for a little while or has it turned into a time frame you are unhappy with?
