The Way of the Warrior

September 30th, 2009 No comments

the-way-of-the-warriorThis is a beautiful extract taken from John Cali which I have left exactly as it appears in his transcription…

The Way of the Warrior is simple. However, as you have often heard me say, it may be simple but it’s not always easy. Today I would like to give you a few of my simple guidelines or “rules of the road,” if you will.

And that road is the Way of the Warrior.

The Warrior always speaks her truth – no matter what the circumstances.

The Warrior is totally detached from what others think and say about her. (This is absolutely necessary if she’s going to observe the first rule above.)

The Warrior always does her best to see the divinity in all that is. In this way, she shall never have any desire to own, control, manipulate, misuse or abuse any of the Great Spirit’s creatures.

The Warrior always follows the highest path as dictated by the highest authority in the Universe – herself.

The Warrior totally trusts in – and surrenders to – the flow of her life. She knows all is as it should be. Therefore, she must always completely trust in – and surrender to – her Higher Self, her Soul, the Great Spirit.

The Warrior knows all Love, all Wisdom, all Power lie within her – within her heart, her mind, her body, her Soul. There is nothing to seek, nothing to find, nowhere to go – except WITHIN.

The Warrior knows with absolute certainty she has never make a mistake – she can never make a mistake. All of her life is simply a lesson in this classroom called Planet Earth. She learns as she goes. All is as it should be.

The Warrior never takes life on Planet Earth too seriously. It’s all a game, after all – a game in the classroom of Planet Earth. And games should be fun. Enjoy the game – it won’t last forever!

The Warrior’s heart is always full – and always grateful. She never knows lack or emptiness – except, that is, when she creates those illusions by getting too infatuated with the Great Illusion – the human experience.

The Warrior knows the Great Illusion creates some highly interesting challenges – for example, the challenge to rise above the Great Illusion.

As she rises above the Great Illusion, the Warrior knows this experience is as it should be – she has chosen it. And in this choosing, she is remembering her way back to the Light – back to her Home. That was the only reason for choosing the Great Illusion in the first place.

The Warrior knows all her brothers and sisters on Planet Earth have the same destination she does – HOME. But each may take a different path. And the Warrior knows that’s okay! All will get Home – no matter what path they take.

It cannot be otherwise – for ALL paths lead HOME.

The Warrior knows the way of the wind. She loves the wind, but she knows she cannot capture it – she cannot own it. She can love it, luxuriate in its presence, glory in its energy.

But if she tries to capture it, it becomes something other than what it truly is – it becomes still and stagnant air. She can never possess it completely – unless she refuses to ever own it – unless she refuses to ever have sovereignty over it.

She can possess it only by letting it be free – by letting it be what it is.

It cannot be otherwise. The Way of the Warrior is the Way of the Wind.

Enjoy, Leon Jay

Deep Joy

September 22nd, 2009 No comments

Deep JoyThis can be said of anything you want more of in your life, including joy.

You are your only source of joy. Looking for joy is not only limited to what society defines it as.

If you do not have children, it doesn’t mean you can’t experience deep joy.

If you are not sharing your life with a partner, it doesn’t mean you can’t experience deep joy.

And if you are not making 6 figures each year – it also doesn’t mean you can’t experience deep joy.

Yes of course you can experience joy in outside things – if you take them for what they are and are not too attached to the people or situations involved.

Real deep joy however is something intangible. A way of living life in that no matter what happens nothing can take away your joy inside you.

Some useful EFT set-up statements if you are having difficulty finding your inner joy…

“Even though I don’t feel any joy when I look within, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I choose to persevere and understand the real truth of the source of joy”

“Even though I am strongly attached to certain people in my life as being my source of joy and all my joy would disappear if something happened to them, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I choose to enjoy other people but not depend on them to feel joyful”

“Even though I only allow myself to feel joy when I have attained specific goals,   I deeply and completely love and accept myself.  I choose to allow myself to enjoy all parts of attaining my goals and not just the end result”

Finding Happiness

September 12th, 2009 2 comments

Finding-HappinessJust like so many things we search for outside of ourselves, happiness can be found inside ourselves. Happiness means different things to different people.

What feels happy for you may not feel happy for someone else. It’s really important to make sure you are not doing things because you think they will make you happy.

It’s important to identify what feels happy to you. Often this will mean standing up to the ‘expected norms’ and doing what is right for you. This can take courage – as often it’s easier to go with the herd than risk standing out on your own.

There are some people who say the notion of happiness is merely an illusion and there is no such thing. However if you follow this line of thinking you will find everything is an illusion (not just happiness).

There is no point chasing happiness in itself as you will probably not find it.  Happiness will elude you. Do what you enjoy doing and there you will find happiness.  It will find you!

Wishing you every success.

Spiritual Meditation

September 9th, 2009 No comments

Spiritual-MeditationThe term “spiritual” means different things to different people.  So too does the word “meditation“.

There is no right or wrong definition you can give to either of these terms.

More quiet and calmness in your life can only benefit every area of your life.  I highly recommend regular periods of peace and quiet.

Mental clarity allows us space to be emotionally clearer.  Use EFT to tap on any resistance you have to trying somthing new.

If something feels right then it is right for you.  Don’t get too hung up on the “correct” or “right” ways to meditate.  Listen to your inner being and do what you feel drawn to.

Wishing you every success

How to Find Inner Peace

September 7th, 2009 No comments

How-to-find-inner-peaceEspecially when we are feeling overwhelmed and stressed we seek to find inner peace.

The good news is that inner peace is already within us.  Yes it may be buried!  Our job is to unearth it.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a powerful tool for releasing our inner peace.

Sometimes it is helpful to sit quietly and ask yourself when you feel peaceful?  Make a note of who you are with, where you are and what you are doing (or not doing) when you feel peaceful.

Then consciously make an effort to spend more time around people you feel peaceful around.  Make an effort to go where you know you feel more peaceful and spend more time there.  And do (or not do) what makes you feel peaceful.

Perhaps you feel more peaceful when there is nobody around.  Perhaps there is a special friend you love to laugh with who you feel peaceful in the company of.

Many people enjoy nature. If so, plan a day in a forest or hiking in the hills. Visit a quiet beach or open field. If you feel peaceful painting, or playing music or sleeping – do it!

There is no right or wrong answer – just whatever feels peaceful for you.

Use EFT to tap away any resistance you feel to not making an effort to bring more inner peace into your life.

The ultimate goal is to live a peaceful life and have a peaceful nature.  Work on yourself little by little until you are happy with the amount of peace in your life.

Wishing you every success.

How to Create More Wealth

September 1st, 2009 No comments

How-to-Create-More-WealthWhen most people think of wealth or want to create more wealth – often they are thinking more money.

I’d like you to consider wealth as more than money. Money IS important – definitely. It is how we have chosen to exchange energy.

I’d like you to think of the root underlying factor that you think having more wealth will bring.

For example you may think more money will bring you more freedom, more choices, more flexibility, more happiness, more peace, more joy, more calm or more spare time.

Whatever it is that you think more wealth will bring you – see if you can focus your attention on bringing in more of that feeling.

For example if you think the route to more happiness is through more money – what can you each day to increase your happiness?

You do NOT need money to enjoy laughing with a close friend, looking into a child’s sparkling eyes or enjoying a beautiful sunset.

The irony is – that when you go straight to the heart of what you REALLY want – you will often find more money will follow naturally (because you become more attractive to the energy of money).

Use EFT to get rid of any resistance that you will not allow yourself to feel happy, peaceful, joyful and free until you have more money.

Wealth is all of these things, not just money.

Wishing you every success
